Quiet Sunday

I had great intentions of going out for a walk today, but awoke to grey skies, wind and occasional rain, so I wimped out. Bjorg came at 15:00 today (we're on 24 hour clocks here, do the math) and we had coffee and cake then took some pictures at the end. There was much Norwegian conversation, I followed maybe 1%, so it was good I had my knitting.

The photo is me, Bjorg, Thommas and his son Bård. You got to see Jorunn in other pictures so I let her be the photographer this time.

After Bjorg left, Thommas took a turn cooking. Fantastic! This place always gets 5 stars. Sadly, I did not think to take a picture of the plates before we ate, the recipe picture does not do it justice. There was halibut, with an apple sauce (not applesauce but a delightful butter and apple sauce with shallots, garlic and apple chunks) lentils with shallots and carrot purée.

Tomorrow Thommas and I take the train to Oslo for part 2 of my research. It will take most of the day to get there, I might take my knitting...
