Bergen at night

Thursday night many of the stores stay open late, so we could enjoy more than window shopping. It's a very pretty city by night. The houses are arranged on the hillside, from top to bottom, all lit up. In one shot you see a line of lights going up the hill - that's the cable car.

I will probably revisit some of these shops in daylight tomorrow, but I do love the look of the lights at night.

In the oldest section of the harborside, there are wonderful wooden shops along narrow alleyways, some with restaurants, some under renovation. Most disturbing was the residual hail on the wooden walkways - looked just like snow, eeeeeewww.
